MOUSTAKBAL II
NODOSA SHIPYARD PRESENTS ITS CONSTRUCTION "MOUSTAKBAL II", ONE UNIT OF NODOSA TYPE OF VESSEL DENOMINATE ND-TSSHD-1500, WHICH IS A TRAILING SUCTION SPLIT HOPPER DREDGER WITH 1500 M3 OF CAPACITY IN ITS HOPPER.
The ND -TSSHD -1500 “MOUSTAKBAL II” is a kind of multi-purpose vessel very specialized over all in sand dredging, and also excellent for regeneration of beaches. Of course, it is able to carry out another type of maritime works, like landfills and others marine rearrangements. Thisvessel is MOROCCO flagged; IMO No. 9671620. Yard No. C278 and isclassed by BUREAU VERITAS reached during construction the Class Notation: BV I @ Hull lMACH Split Hopper Dredger, Unrestricted Navigation, dredging over 15milesfromshore
THE ENGINEERING of the ND-TSSHD-1500 “MOUSTAKBAL II” has been designed and created by NODOSA SHIPYARD PROJECTS DEPARTAMENT, and fully developed byits PRODUCTION & TECHNICAL OFFICE,keeping on thetradition of theshipyard in doing allvesselscompletelyadapted to therequirementsand necessities of itsshipowners.
Available domesticfacilitiesfor up to 14 crewmembers,allequipments-inclusivemachineryrefrigeration,etc.- have been sized for operating in tropicalconditions with air temperature up to 40ºC and Engine Room temperature up to 50ºC. During dredging activity, the“MOUSTAKBAL II” isableto load the hopper with sand with a mixture density of 1.200 kg/m3 in lessthan 90minutesapproximately,and unload it in lessthan 50minutesapprox
DREDGING EQUIPMENTS have been supplied byIHC MERWEDE, fora dredging depth up to 30mbellow light draughtcondition atan angle of 50º down again horizon. Thisequipment installed includesall the necessaryformaking the“MOUSTAKBAL II”avery productive and efficient dredger: one dredge pump e-driven by a 1.000 kW ABB motor, one jet pump e-driven bya 500 kW ABB motor, three gantries with winches,asuction pipesituated in starboard side(thatalso can beconverted into astationarysuction pipe byreplacing theturning piece bya mild steel bend and replacing thetrailing drag-head Californiatype by a stationary suction mouth), nozzles and jet-water monitors for diluting the cargo, all theinstrumentation for thecontrol of the pipe position, draughtand loading sensors, indicators of vacuum/pressure in the inlet/outlet of the pumps, velocity and density meter, two swellcompensators, onetelescopic overflow,etc. The dredge pump wasspecialized designed for get the highest productivity
