The basic priciple for the disign of this vessel is to meet the demands with the most reliable and cost efficient solutions. The vessel is able to fulfil the general demands of the offshore industry as stand-by and rescue operations, fire fighting, oil recovery, emergency towing and handling of bulk cargo in tank and general cargo deck

The Vessel isarranged asasingle-decker, with accommodation forward andmachineryforward and amidship. It hasatwin propulsion arrangement, each consisting ofa main enginecoupled to asingleinput /single output reduction gearbox driving a CP open propeller. Foreach main propeller thereisinstalled aflap rudder. There has been installed two tunnel thrustersand aretractablecompassthruster forward and two tunnel thrusteraft.
