NORTH SEA GIANT
North Sea Giant, built by METALSHIPS & DOCKS shipyard, received the “Ship of the year 2012” award, awarded annually by the prestigious Offshore Support Journal. The award recognized its strong technological commitment and innovative design and its outstanding operational capacity. It is the longest offshore built to date in Metalships, with 156 meters of length, 30 meters of beam and 22 Mw of installed power.
The ship is prepared to accommodate a crew of 120 people and its structure draws its attention especially its heliport in the bow and its bridge of government located on the sixth deck of the ship, with a total area of 300 square meters. The ship has industrial kitchen, restaurant, living rooms, gym, laundry, cinema and sauna, among other services.
