The Lay Vessel North Ocean 105, is an advanced oil rig support vessel. It was built by Metalships and Docks and delivered in 2012 to multinationals McDermott (United States) and Oceanteam (Netherlands). It emphasizes the capacity of this ship to tend rigid pipes in reel to depths of more than 1,500 meters.
With a length of 133 meters, 27 meters beam and 9.70 meters of strut, it has two cranes, one of them, 400 tons - one of the largest installed in a shipyard in the Vigo estuary - and another, Of 100 tonnes. It is prepared to house a crew of 120 people.
